- Company Name: Qingdao Delvo Industry & Trade Co., Ltd.
- Publication Date: 2017-10-24
- Product Type: Cosmetics
- Summary: The Shandong Provincial Food and Drug Administration conducted unannounced on-site inspections of 12 cosmetics manufacturing enterprises at the end of July 2017. These inspections, conducted under the Cosmetics Hygiene Supervision Regulations and related standards, aimed to assess compliance with hygiene and production requirements. A total of 55 deficiencies were identified across the province.

Two companies, Qingdao Delvo Industry and Trade Co., Ltd. and Shandong Shenghong Pharmaceutical Technology Co., Ltd., were found temporarily unqualified for production due to factory demolition/construction and workshop renovation, respectively. Both are currently shut down and can only resume operations after completing necessary facility upgrades and passing subsequent on-site inspections for license modification.

Shandong Huang'antang Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. voluntarily applied to withdraw its cosmetic production license during the inspection, a request that has been accepted.

Additionally, nine other companies, including Qingdao Yi'aimei Cosmetic Co., Ltd., were deemed to generally meet requirements but exhibited various deficiencies. Common issues included inadequate personnel training plans, lack of essential cleanroom facilities (e.g., disinfection, proper ventilation), improper storage and labeling of raw materials and semi-finished products, missing or incomplete documentation (e.g., location cards, expiration dates), and discrepancies in operational records or facility conditions (e.g., rust, high ozone, uncalibrated gauges).

These nine companies are mandated to rectify their identified deficiencies within a specified timeframe. Local municipal bureaus will oversee the corrective actions and conduct follow-up on-site re-inspections, with reports submitted to the provincial authority.
