- Company Name: Shenzhen Bouquet Cosmetics Co., Ltd.
- Publication Date: 2016-12-27
- Product Type: Cosmetics
- Summary: The Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region Food and Drug Administration conducted its annual cosmetic quality supervision and sampling inspection in 2016, under the regulatory framework of the "Implementation Plan for the 2016 Guangxi Cosmetics Quality Supervision and Sampling Inspection." Concluded by December 27, 2016, this initiative aimed to enhance oversight of cosmetic quality and safety in the region. The inspection encompassed 571 batches of skincare products, including those for spot-removing/whitening, acne treatment, and infant use, as well as nail polish.

Thirteen batches were identified as non-compliant. Key violations included the unauthorized presence of harmful substances. Excessive levels of mercury were found in several whitening and spot-removing creams, notably from manufacturers like Shenzhen Huashuzi Cosmetics Co., Ltd. and Shenzhen Aoli'ao Cosmetics Co., Ltd. Potent steroids, such as dexamethasone, betamethasone, and clobetasol propionate, were detected in acne treatment and even infant skincare products, implicating companies like Guangzhou Meicheng Cosmetics Co., Ltd. and Wuhan Runhe Biomedical Co., Ltd. Additionally, antibiotics like ofloxacin were present in acne creams from Guangzhou Baiyun District Weiermei Cosmetics Factory, and acrylamide was found in infant shampoo/body wash and facial cleanser products.

In response, the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region Food and Drug Administration has mandated municipal food and drug administrations to investigate and impose appropriate legal penalties on the identified manufacturers and distributors of these non-compliant cosmetics, reinforcing market regulation and consumer safety.
