This action follows adverse event reports from medical institutions, which identified that the product's three-way valve may have a loose connection during use, potentially leading to leakage and posing a risk to patient safety. The affected batches were produced on 20200821 (3000 units), 20210505 (6000 units), and 20210805 (6000 units), totaling 15,000 units sold within China. This recall falls under the regulatory framework of the National Medical Products Administration (NMPA), as reported by the Jiangsu Provincial Drug Administration on 2022-04-06. As part of its required actions, Yangzhou Yangsheng Pharmaceutical Technology Co., Ltd. is communicating with distributors and hospitals to understand these adverse events, actively following up with customers, compiling batch information, and ensuring the retrieval of all affected products from stock.
